President Pledges to Stop ‘Progressive Media’ After Launching New York Times Lawsuit

Subsequent to initiating a substantial $15bn legal claim targeting the New York Times, the head of state swore to stop what he described as the “far-left media” from harming the country.

On his online network his personal platform, the president claimed that he had received “incredible” feedback regarding the legal action.

“The main feeling and, ‘IT’S ABOUT TIME!’ he stated. “Progressive press is attempting to harm the U.S.A.. Our administration plans to block them on all fronts!!!”

In a case filed in a state court, the president has charged the newspaper of spreading “inaccurate and damaging” content regarding him.

Statement from the Publication

A media contact for the newspaper responded: “This lawsuit has no merit. It does not contain any valid arguments and instead is an attempt to intimidate and limit fact-based journalism. Our organization refuses to be swayed by intimidation tactics. Our team plans to proceed to report the truth impartially and stand up for writers’ first amendment privilege.”
