The Initial Xbox Game Pass Titles of 2026 Show Xbox Isn't Giving Up Yet.

Across the gaming landscape, fans keep sounding the death bells for Microsoft's gaming division. Microsoft's console just got outsold by a relatively obscure console. Xbox fan sites have started writing regarding Sony's platform as a new development. The past year represented a period of total upheaval for the Xbox ecosystem. Yet, based exclusively on the titles headed to the service in 2026, it is apparent that Microsoft remains determined to engage players with quality releases on its key platform.

The Current Inclusions

The duo of games currently accessible today, Brews & Bastards and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, don't represent the biggest draws. Rather, it's what is coming to Game Pass in the coming weeks that's truly noteworthy.

Significant Forthcoming Releases

On Jan. 13, the subscription service will add the underrated Star Wars Outlaws, a sprawling adventure that deviates from typical Ubisoft design with an intergalactic heist adventure. A further major acquisition is Resident Evil Village and its giant Lady Dimitrescu, which our 2021 review called "the perfect cocktail of horror and action."

Intriguing Niche Additions

But even the smaller games coming to Game Pass soon are noteworthy here. Lost In Random: The Eternal Die, a fantastic but under-the-radar dungeon crawler that's a blast to play, becomes available next week — and you should try it even if you missed out on the first Lost in Random game.

The game set in a ruined Britain from last year could captivate you in about 15 minutes flat.

Atomfall, a game blending infiltration and resource management by the developers behind Sniper Elite, is also a game to check out. Those with the top-tier subscription also have Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition to get excited about.

A Robust Selection of Games

All in all, these titles aren't industry-shaking releases to Game Pass, and they don't represent massive exclusive blockbusters that are the sole reason for the service in the first place. But Microsoft's additions here are rock solid. There's a good mixture of older titles you may have skipped and new-ish games that failed to receive the spotlight they deserved the first time around — rendering them perfect candidates to experience a revival on Game Pass.

Hope you're ready to say goodbye to The Grinch Christmas Adventures, however.
