The Music Icon Plays a Twisted Persona of Her Own Identity in Fictional Documentary Preview
The celebrated musician is gearing up for a major film appearance in 2026, kicking off with the satirical film titled The Moment.
Throughout the movie, the artist plays what she calls as a hell version of her own persona.
It’s the most authentic portrayal of the music industry that I’ve ever seen, Charli stated.
She clarified in a discussion: This isn’t a concert film, but the idea originated from the demand to make one.
An Early Look into The Moment
The first teaser, released on this week, combines real clips from her live performances with fictionalized backstage scenes.
The Moment is helmed and co-scripted by the director, who revealed that the plot focuses on a world where the singer opted for alternate decisions during the promotion of her smash hit album Brat.

The mockumentary is only one of several upcoming film appearances for the star, who has appeared in three cinematic festival entries recently.

Soundtrack Involvement
The month of February will also include the launch of Emerald Fennell’s adaptation of Wuthering Heights, which will showcase new music from the artist.
She will also create the soundtrack for the drama Mother Mary, featuring Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel, scheduled for release in the coming year.
The Moment will be released on the 30th of January.
